Hi ELSC Players and Families,

I wanted to send you all a quick update about what is happening and how we are approaching the fall season. In short, the ELSC board are unsure if there will be a fall season with games. Both of the leagues that ELSC participates in our unable to play games based on Michigan State Youth Soccer Association Return to Training guidelines.  We are disappointed by this but we anticipated that this could happen. We are supposed to be in stage six before there is any return to games and it does not seem like we will get there by the start of ELSC’s typical season which is the week after Labor Day.

We are however planning on running a soccer “training/skills” session for grades 3rd through 8th. The sessions will cost a small fee which we are hoping to determine very soon.  We wanted to offer something as a way for us as a club to practice together while maintaining social distance. This will be a modified training and we will only be able to practice without contact (no scrimmages). We are offering this because we believe as a club that we to get a much needed outdoor time for the players and we will be working hard on the details  We are still working on the details but should have an update for you later this week.

Best regards,

Coach Chris

ELSC President
